We are Dyade Photo, a couple of pure laine Quebec photographers. We have a visceral love for our vast and windy country. If you love wide open spaces, infinite horizons, feeling the wind whip your face, then we want to meet you! We want to connect with people who are sensitive to art, life and the uniqueness of things. We surround ourselves with those who take the time to live every second fully, too well aware that life passes by us way too quickly.
Over the last 10 years, we’ve perfected the art of travelling in our beautiful province. We are eager to make you discover off the beaten path treasures. This is why we will suggest exceptional places where we can photograph you and your loved ones. Every single shoot is tailored to our client and we make it our mission to find the perfect setting to make and capture your travel memories.
Who is Dyade Photo?
Dyade Photo is a couple of Quebec photographers. Two hearts united, two visions that meet. Those of Josée and Patrick.
Josée is the sensitive one. She trusts her emotional instincts. She has an incredible talent for magnifying people and places. She collects details as a testament to the authenticity of your story.
Patrick has a thirst for secret places. A contagious energy that defuses all your fears. He has an incomparable flair for capturing emotions on the fly. He is a spontaneous creative who constantly renews himself.
We left the big city to settle further north, on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. For years, we have been doing portrait shoots in the most beautiful seascapes of Quebec and even elsewhere. We have a talent, and a thirst to find new places that are a showcase for an incredible photo shoot.
Count on us to discover a dead-end road leading to a grandiose view, a haven sheltering a monolith or an island that will rock you with the song of the seals at night.

Frequently asked questions
How long in advance should I book my shoot?
We suggest you book at least a week in advance, although we will attempt to accommodate last minute requests (but no promises). The ideal time frame to ensure you get YOUR preferred time/date is at least 4 weeks in advance.
How do I pay for my shoot?
We accept payments via Interac e-tranfert and PayPal. Full payment must be made at the time of booking.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel or if we run late?
No problem! Just let us know by email, text or phone in advance of your shoot time:
More than 48 hours – 80% refund
Less than 48 hours – no refund will be issued (barring an emergency!)
And if you are running late, please text or email us. If you arrive late, keep in mind we may have another shoot booked right after, and it’s unlikely your shoot can be extended (although it’s always possible, so please ask!). We suggest arriving early so you don’t begin your experience in a ‘rushed’ state of mind.
What happens if it’s raining or snowing?
We’ve seen it all! We shoot rain or shine and it’s no problem. We even think that dramatic skies make better images and make the best conversation starters. We’ve made a visual signature of it! However, if it’s raining nonsense, we can reschedule. We are reasonable folks.
When will I see the photos?
We will send you a link to your online gallery within five business days. You will be able to download your high resolution photos and share them with everyone! We promise your friends and family will be jealous!
Do I own the photos?
You have the rights to use the photos for personal use only (no commercial use is permitted unless it’s in our contract). Print them, share them and hopefully hang them on your wall. As per all photographers, Dyade Photo retains copyright. We would love to showcase your photos in our portfolio, but if you are shy, or prefer to keep them private, just let us know and we will never post anything publicly.
Can I choose which photos I receive in my gallery?
Dyade photo will select the best photos to create your curated photo gallery. Our packages include only the ‘best of the best’ from your shoot. Due to the nature of candid photography, not all shots that are taken will turn out as planned, but if you have any requests for ‘must have’ shots, then we’ll be more than happy to prioritize those shots so that they end up in your final gallery.
Can I book Dyade photo for a commercial project?
